Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program

Mortgage Assistance Program

The City of Miami Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP), for eligible homeowners within City of Miami limits provides up to $10,000 (one-time) towards the past due mortgage payments (arrears) of qualifying households.

Affordable Rental Units

For many years, the City of Miami has provided funding to developers to build and/or rehabilitate affordable rental housing for low- and moderate-income City residents

Senior Rental Assistance Program

The City of Miami Senior Rental Assistance program will open for new applications from Friday, December 1, 2023, 9 am, through Tuesday, January 2, 2024, 5 pm. This program provides up to $500 in rental assistance, based on need, to qualifying senior (age 62 and up) applicants who are renters in the City of Miami, are 50% AMI and below, and spend more than 30% of their income towards rental housing
