Threshold Inspector Form
In accordance with Florida Statutes, any building which is greater than 3 stories or 50 feet in height, or which has an assembly occupancy classification that exceeds 5,000 square feet in area and an occupant content of greater than 500 persons is considered a Threshold Building and requires that all structural components be inspected by a qualified special inspector hired by the owner. This form must be submitted and approved as a prerequisite to the issuance of a master building permit for any threshold building.
