Commercial Facade Treatment and Code Compliance Programs
The Department of Housing & Community Development provides funding to support programs that assist For-profit businesses located in census tract areas with 51% or more of low-income residents. The City of Miami DOES NOT assist business owners directly. The assistance is provided through nonprofit agencies funded by the city to carry on such activities.
The objective of assisting business owners is to foment the creation of viable communities by providing assistance to facilitate business incubation development, and job creation/ retention.
Note:. The City cannot guarantee that at any given time services will be available for all applicants. As it is the case with these programs, demand often exceeds the funding available for the provision of services.
