ANY PERSON WHO ACTS AS A LOBBYIST PURSUANT TO CITY OF MIAMI ORDINANCE NO. 11469, CODIFIED IN CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE VI OF THE CITY CODE, MUST REGISTER WITH THE CITY CLERK PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN LOBBYING ACTIVITIES BEFORE CITY STAFF, BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND THE CITY COMMISSION. A COPY OF SAID ORDINANCE IS AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY HALL.
- Approval of the Minutes from February 27, 2024, Housing and Commercial Loan Committee Meeting.
- Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to the Subordination of the City’s $1,500,000 in CDBG funds due to a refinance loan to Tuscan Place Ltd. Partnership in connection with the Tuscan Place project.
- Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to the change in lien position of the $2,250,000 City HOME loan to Jose Marti Villas LLC in connection with the Jose Marti Villas project.
- Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to borrower Mary Thelusma’s appeal not to be penalized due to hardship for renting her property between 2019-2024 and to be granted a release of her loan when it matures this year and/or (if not released) pro-rated credit reducing the Principal balance, with years to pay off her loan (re: Matter 24-58).
- Recommendation/Discussion pertaining to borrower Jean Pierre’s appeal not to be penalized and demanded to pay off loan due to hardship for not claiming Homestead for five years while away on overseas missions as a pastor and to be granted release of his loan when it matures this year (re: Matter 24-57).
