ANY PERSON WHO ACTS AS A LOBBYIST PURSUANT TO CITY OF MIAMI ORDINANCE NO. 11469, CODIFIED IN CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE VI OF THE CITY CODE, MUST REGISTER WITH THE CITY CLERK PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN LOBBYING ACTIVITIES BEFORE CITY STAFF, BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND THE CITY COMMISSION.  A COPY OF SAID ORDINANCE IS AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY HALL.

  1. Approval of the Minutes from July 19, 2023, Housing and Commercial Loan Committee Meeting.

     

  2. Discussion/recommendation pertaining to the allocation of $7,000,000 in the City of Miami For Everyone Program Funds to Carver Theatre LTD for Lofts at Carver Theater/Carver Theatre Project

     

  3. Discussion/recommendation pertaining to the change of funding source from the City of Miami for Everyone Program Funds to Miami Forever General Obligation Bonds (“GOB”) in the amount of $3,000,000 for Yaeger Plaza Project by Yaeger Plaza Partners, LLC.

     

  4. Discussion/recommendation pertaining to the allocation of $800,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds to Villa Aurora, LLLP for the rehabilitation of the Villa Aurora Project

     

  5. Discussion/recommendation pertaining to the modification of the Liberty Renaissance project by Liberty Renaissance Apartments LLC.     

Other Business:

  1. Discussion/recommendation pertaining to borrower Carolina Ramirez’s request to lower her payoff and interest amount on her City of Miami HOME-funded assistance loan, which she is non-compliant with.
