In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the city program(s) as indicated below: * †

DISCUSS AND PROPOSED RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (“CDBG”) UNALLOCATED DISTRICT 3 FUNDS IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CATEGORY FROM FISCAL YEAR (“FY”) 2023-2024 IN THE AMOUNT OF $302,283.00 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF RESILIENCE AND PUBLIC WORKS TO BE UTILIZED FOR ELIGIBLE STREET IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES, AS DESCRIBED BELOW:

DISCUSS AND PROPOSED RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (“CDBG”) ALLOCATED FOR THE RESILIENT MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING INITIATIVE (“INITIATIVE”) IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000.00 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF RESILIENCE AND PUBLIC WORKS TO BE UTILIZED FOR STREET, DRAINAGE, AND/OR ANY OTHER CDBG ELIGIBLE IMPROVEMENTS IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE SOUTHWEST STREETSCAPE AND STREET TREE MASTER PLAN (“SOUTHWEST STREETSCAPE PLAN”), AS DESCRIBED BELOW:

The review and comment period begins on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, and ends on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to the City Commission for approval on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Draft copies of the agenda items will be available at the City of Miami Department of Housing and Community Development office located at 14 NE 1 Avenue, 2 Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (HCD Address).
