Miami River Greenway Project and Roadway Improvements
at Gerry Curtis Park
This Project Consists of Two Sections (A & B)
Section A Location - NW 24th Avenue to NW 22nd Avenue on NW N. River, Including NW 24th Avenue
Improvements to Section A Include:
- Drainage Improvements and new curbs and gutters
- Road reconstruction and milling and resurfacing, paving and markings
- Additional traffic signs
- Pedestrian crosswalks
- Sidewalk replacement, according to Miami River Greenway guidelines
- Decorative street lighting
Section B Location - Existing Riverwalk Inside the Gerry Curtis Park
Improvements to Section B Inlcude:
- Solar bollard pedestrian lighting
- New pedestrian trail for full park connectivity
- Pet waste – plastic bag dispensers
- Benches and trash receptacles
- Landscaping improvements
- ADA compliant ramps
