East Little Havana Flood Improvements

This project includes road reconstruction, drainage improvements, sidewalks, ADA compliant ramps, curb and/or gutter structures, pavement markings and striping, and roadway signage. The proposed drainage will include new and upsized stormwater inlets and pipes, exfiltration trenches, stormwater pipe conveyance to a new pump station, and force main connection to a series of underground injection wells, with an outfall to the Miami River.

El proyecto incluye reconstrucción de carreteras, mejoras de drenaje, aceras, rampas que cumplen con ADA, estructuras de bordillos y/o canaletas y señalización vial. El drenaje propuesto incluirá entradas y tuberías nuevas y ampliadas, zanjas de exfiltración, conducción de tuberías de aguas pluviales a una nueva estación de bombeo, con conexión a una serie de pozos de inyección subterráneos a través de una tubería de impulsión, con descarga al río Miami (Miami River).

Project Boundaries / Límites del Proyecto: 

The project limits are bounded by NW 2nd Street to the North, SW 6th Street to the South, W 17th Avenue to the West, and 12th Avenue to the East. The stormwater pump station location is anticipated in the vicinity of SW 1st Street and SW 15th Avenue.                     

Los límites del proyecto están delimitados por la Calle NW 2 al Norte, la Calle SW 6 al Sur, la Avenida W 17 al Oeste y la Avenida 12 al Este. Se anticipa que la ubicación de la estación de bombeo de aguas pluviales estará en las cercanías de la Calle SW 1 y la Avenida SW 15.
