Little Havana Pedestrian Priority Zone Planned Improvements in D3
In 2021, City of Miami District 3 Commissioner Joe Carollo committed $2.5 million for the improvement, along with a $3M bipartisan bill sponsored by Senator Ileana Garcia and House Representative Michael Greico that passed in June 2021. In May 2022, the City of Miami Office of Capital Improvements developed the project scope and budget estimates to construct pedestrian safety improvements and have begun project design for priority one projects.
