Project Scope:
Design-build of stormwater infrastructure and associated roadway improvements including new and upsized stormwater inlets and pipes, exfiltration trenches, injection wells, stormwater pumpstation with outfall to the Little River Canal (tributary to Biscayne Bay), roadway reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, curbs and gutters, ADA ramps, and signage and pavement markings. This project may also include a requested Joint Participation Agreement (JPA) with the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) for installing an 8-inch water main, water services, and fire hydrants.

The project limits are bounded by Shorecrest: NE 80 St between NE 8 Ct and NE Bayshore Ct. NE 8 Ct between NE 79 St and NE 80 St. NE 10 Ave between NE 79 St and NE 80 St. Hanesworth: NE 78 St between NE 8 Ct and NE 10 Ave. NE Little River Dr between Durham Blvd and NE 10 Ave. NE Bayshore Ct between Durham Blvd and NE 79 St. Dunham Blvd between NE Bayshore Ct and NE 79 St. NE 78 Rd between Durham Blvd and NE 10 Ct. NE 10 Ct between NE 78 Rd and NE 79 St. N Bayshore Dr between Durham Blvd and NE 79 St. Little River Pocket Park.
Road Closures:
Some road closures may occur during construction but will be sequenced appropriately to minimize disruption to the residents.
Estimated Construction Timeline:
