Mr. Capdevila joined the Office of the City Attorney in April 2022. He is assigned to the Litigation and Appeals Division, handling a wide range of substantive areas. While in law school, Mr. Capdevila interned at the civil division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office and served as a judicial intern at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. He was a staff attorney at the Office of the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel, where he represented death row inmates in state and federal court. More recently, Mr. Capdevila clerked as a pro se staff attorney for several district court judges and magistrate judges at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
