James E. Jackson

Assistant City Attorney

Mr. Jackson joined the Office of the City Attorney in December 2024 and is currently assigned to the Land Use and General Government Division where he handles Land Use and Zoning as well as Public Record matters. Prior to becoming an Assistant City Attorney, he was involved in Land Use and Zoning matters in private practice. Mr. Jackson earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law. He also previously interned with the Office of the City Attorney as a law student in the Fall of 2023.

Education: Juris Doctorate (2024), St. Thomas University School of Law; Bachelor of science (2020), Florida International University.
