Mrs. Preston-O'Neill joined the Office of the City Attorney in January 2020 and is presently assigned to the Litigation and Appeals Division. Prior to joining the Office of the City Attorney, Mrs. Preston-O'Neill was a Partner at a civil litigation law firm where she represented insurance carriers in complex litigation matters, coverage disputes, and liability claims. Mrs. Preston-O'Neill began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender with the Law Offices of Carlos J. Martinez, Public Defender for Miami-Dade County, and she was also an Adjunct Professor at Miami-Dade College where she taught Criminal Law & Litigation.
