Mr. Greco is the Chief Deputy City Attorney. He is also Chief Appellate Counsel where he litigates and handles appeals in the areas of constitutional, governmental, land use, zoning, contract, tort, civil rights, labor and employment law. He is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in City, County and Local Government Law and in Appellate Practice. Previously, Mr. Greco worked in private practice in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, commercial and business litigation, and appeals. He also worked as an Assistant Attorney for the Miami-Dade County School Board and clerked at the Florida Second District Court of Appeal and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is the author of the articles titled: "Appeals of Local Government Decisions: Constraints on Judicial Review Before, During, and After the Appeal" (Stetson Law Review); "Second-Tier Certiorari: Adverse Precedential Effect as a Predicate for Finding a 'Miscarriage of Justice' in Government Appeals" (FIU Law Review); "The Fourth Amendment and Mass Demonstrations: Does the Dispersal of Protestors by Law Enforcement Constitute a 'Seizure'?" (IMLA Municipal Lawyer Magazine); "Zoning and Internet Adult Businesses: The Cases of Voyeur Dorm & Flava Works" (IMLA Municipal Lawyer Magazine); "Mootness and Federal Claims: Amending or Repealing City Ordinances in Response to Litigation" (IMLA Municipal Lawyer Magazine); "Excessive Force and Electric Stun Devices-Recent Jurisprudence on the Use of Tasers by Law Enforcement" (IMLA Municipal Lawyer Magazine); and " Litigation of the Narrow Exception to Sovereign Immunity for Known Hazards or Traps" (City, County and Local Government Law Section of Florida Bar Newsletter). He has lectured in the areas of appellate, civil rights, constitutional, governmental, zoning, land use, labor and employment law.
