Mrs. Snyder joined the Office of the City Attorney in October 2022 and is assigned to the Litigation and Appeals Division. Prior to joining the Office of the City Attorney, Mrs. Snyder was a Partner at a civil litigation law firm. For twelve years, she represented clients in arbitration, complex business litigation and class action litigation in state and federal court and before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. She specialized primarily in lawsuits over violations of consumer protection statutes; Florida’s Whistleblower Act; state and federal civil rights laws; and common law claims arising out of the business and employment relationship. She began her legal career as a litigation associate in New York City, where she represented clients in complex business disputes in civil litigation. Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Snyder is a proud member of the Board of Directors of The Melissa Institute for Violence Prevention and Treatment.
