Natural Areas Division Apprentice Internship Program
The City of Miami Natural Areas Interns enrich our education and conservation program by applying their skills and welcoming members of the community to learn more about South Florida habitats, flora and fauna. Activities include but not limited to conducting nature tours, guiding education stations, and staffing booths at outreach events, helping park staff with habitat restoration, and nature trail maintenance. Nature Clean-ups
Interested in helping us protecting our natural areas? Engage with nature by volunteering to assist in its habitat restoration and clean-up. The City of Miami Parks and Recreation Department hosts clean-ups at three Miami Natural Areas. Volunteer tasks vary and may include the following activities: debris removal, exotic invasive plan removal, and park clean-ups (trails and beach).
