On September 12, 2019, the City of Miami Commission adopted Ordinance 13858 to amend Chapter 62, Article I of the City Code as follows:
For new development and redevelopment, required to undergo a traffic study and/or environmental study:
- A pool of independent providers to conduct the studies will be created utilizing the City's competitive procurement process.
- A competitive process for the selection of the independent providers will be established.
City owned property for sale or lease for two million dollars or more will be required to conduct independent traffic and/or environmental studies.
