Miami 21 Task Force Meeting - May, 2021

On December 12, 2019, Miami’s City Commission adopted Resolution R-19-0523, which directed the City Administration to conduct a comprehensive review of the Miami 21 zoning code.

At this meeting, the Task Force will discuss recommendations to incorporate items related to prosperity and incentivizing technology-based economy, effects on education, opportunity zones, create activity nodes at major thoroughfare intersections, and effects on transportation. Additionally the Task Force will discuss recommendations related to service and process and length of permits, noticing and conducting quasi-judicial hearing, navigability and usability of M21 code by stakeholder, and general Miami 21 issues.
