Project Scope:

Design and construction of stormwater infrastructure and associated roadway improvements including new and upsized stormwater inlets and pipes, stormwater pump station with injection wells, roadway reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, ADA ramps, signage and pavement markings.

Project Cost Estimate:

$11,029,882

Project Benefits and Impacts:

The project will help alleviate localized flooding experienced by the community.

  • Number of properties impacted: Total = 128 (43 Residential and 85 Non-Residential)
  • Total property value protected: $71M

Project Boundaries:

The project limits are bounded by NW 34 Street on the North, NW 30 Street to the South, NW 23 Avenue to the West and NW 19 Avenue to the East. The stormwater pump station location is anticipated in the vicinity of NW 21 Avenue and NW 31 Street.

Road Closures:

Some road closures may occur during construction but will be sequenced appropriately to minimize disruption to the residents.

Estimated Construction Timeline:

  • Estimated Construction Start: Spring 2027
  • Estimated Construction End: Fall 2027
