Passport services are available by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Walk-in passport services are NOT available. It is very important that you review all of the steps outlined to apply for a U.S. Passport before making your appointment.

If you are traveling in less time than the expedited service timeframe - call the National Passport Information Center (NPIC) at 1 (877) 487-2778 to make an appointment to apply for the U.S. Passport at a Department of State Passport Agency. You can also visit the U.S. Passport Agency website for instructions on how to get your passport fast
Complete Application and Collect Documents
Application and documents vary based upon applicant's age and circumstances. Review and follow instructions carefully to avoid delays in processing. The State Department has listed the necessary documents needed as well as the form you must fill out on their website. You must bring these documents and the completed form with you to our office.

Please Note: If you are using Form DS-82 (renewal), we cannot process your application. You must mail in your renewal application yourself. We recommend using a trackable delivery method when mailing in your passport application.
Prepare Payment
Please Note: The City of Miami has a separate processing fee from the federal passport fee. You will need one (1) check or money order payable to U.S. Department of State and one (1) check or money order or cash payable to City of Miami.
