Commissioner Manolo Reyes will host Spectrum Fair 2023

City of Miami District 4 Commissioner Manolo Reyes along with Spectrum Family, are proud to announce the next Spectrum Fair that will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

 

Spectrum Fair is an interactive event that brings together families and community members to learn best-practices from local professionals that work with neurodiverse populations.

 

“My commitment is to those parents and children in our community who are in constant search of information and services to help people with autism. This Fair will give them that opportunity, to connect with agencies and specialists that can help them, while enjoying a family day in the park” said Commissioner Manolo Reyes.

 

During this free event, visitors will enjoy sensory-friendly stations, recreational activities, arts and crafts, face painting, puppet shows, storytelling, dance performances and more. There will also be giveaways as well as food and entertainment for the whole family.

 

The idea of the Fair is to brings the resources to parents and families that need support in the areas of applied behavioral analysis, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, college and vocational transition services, alternative therapies, and more!

 

“Through our participatory approach, we hope to create unique and engaging opportunities to learn about autism and neurodiversity in order to enrich the lives of individuals in the spectrum and their families,” said Josefina Beyra, Director of Spectrum Family.
