District 5 "Industry Day" at Moore Park for Contractors

City of Miami seal

The District Five Commission Office along with the Procurement Department and Office of Capital Improvements welcomes contractors to participate in a "Industry Day" for Moore park improvements  and Gymnasium Project. Moore Park features after school programs and camps, a plethora of outdoor activities, a stadium, recreation center, and tennis courts.

On "Industry Day", the City will review the scope of services, minimum qualification requirements, how to register with BidSync and its benefits, how to register as a vendor with the city, an explanation of the procurement process, and the projected timeline.

“Parks are necessary for the growth of our community’s youth and families,” said City of Miami Chairwoman and District Five Commissioner Christine King. “Having access to after school programming, outdoor activities, and a beautiful setting to spend quality time with friends and family will create more closely connected, flourishing communities. Redeveloping the park is essential! We are looking for a contractor that aligns with this vision.”
